The service

PDFEditKaro is a collection of free tools for working with PDF files and images in your browser, including editing text, merging, splitting, organizing, compressing, converting, watermarking and numbering pages. It is provided for personal and business use on files that you are entitled to use.

Acceptable use

You may only process documents that you own or have permission to change. You must not use PDFEditKaro to:

• forge, falsify or tamper with official records, certificates, identity documents, financial statements or any document in a way that misleads others or breaks the law;
• remove a password or protection from a document that you do not own or are not allowed to open or change (the Unlock PDF tool needs the correct password and does not crack passwords);
• infringe other people's copyright or privacy;
• attempt to disrupt, scrape at scale, or reverse engineer the site or abuse it in any way that harms other users.

You are responsible for the files you create and what you do with them.

Limits of the tools

• Edited text is drawn over the original using standard fonts, so it may not match the original typeface. The original text may remain in the file underneath, so do not use the editor for redaction.
• The image-based compression levels turn pages into pictures, so text will no longer be selectable.
• The converters (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, HTML and XML to PDF, and PDF to Word, Excel and PowerPoint) rebuild documents in your browser. They are close but not identical to the original application's output: fonts may be substituted, and charts, animations and some drawings are not carried over. Please check results before you rely on them.
• Scanned, password-protected or damaged PDFs may not work.
• Large files depend on your device's memory and may fail on older devices.
• Always check the downloaded file, and keep a copy of your original.

Intellectual property

The site's design, text and logo belong to PDFEditKaro. Your files belong to you. We claim no rights over them, because we never receive them.

No warranty

PDFEditKaro is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free or suitable for your purpose.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of the site or from files you process with it. Nothing in these terms limits any right you have under law that cannot be limited.

Third-party content

The site may show third-party ads and link to other websites. We are not responsible for them.

Trademarks

PDF is a trademark of Adobe Inc. PDFEditKaro is not affiliated with or endorsed by Adobe.

Changes

We may change or discontinue the service, or update these terms, at any time. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of India will have jurisdiction, unless your local consumer law says otherwise.
