PDFEditKaro (pdfeditkaro.com) offers free online PDF tools. This page explains what happens to your information when you use the website.

Your files

When you edit, merge, split, compress, convert or otherwise process a file with PDFEditKaro, the work is done by your own browser, on your own device. Your PDFs and images are not uploaded to our servers, and we do not see, store or copy them. When you close or reload the page, your files and edits are gone unless you downloaded the result.

Information we collect

You do not need an account, and the tools do not ask for your name, email address or other personal details. Like most websites, our hosting provider may keep standard server logs, such as IP address, browser type, device type, referring page and the pages you visit. We use this kind of information to keep the site secure and working.

If you write to us through the contact form, we receive the name, email address and message you submit, and we use them only to reply to you.

Third-party libraries

To work, the tools load open-source libraries (pdf.js, pdf-lib and JSZip) and related font and character-map files from public content delivery networks such as cdnjs (Cloudflare) and jsDelivr. If you open the “Type” tab of the signature window, handwriting fonts are loaded from Google Fonts. When your browser requests them, those providers may receive your IP address and browser details, under their own privacy policies. They do not receive your files.

Cookies, advertising and analytics

We may show ads provided by third parties, such as Google AdSense. These partners, including Google, may use cookies or similar technologies to show ads based on your visits to this and other websites. You can learn how Google uses data from sites that use its services at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites, and manage ad personalization in Google Ads Settings. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings. If you are in a region where consent is required, a consent notice may be shown to you.

We may use privacy-friendly analytics to understand which tools are used, so that we can improve them. If we do, it will not include the contents of your files.

Local storage

The tools do not need to store anything on your device beyond the current page. If you tick “Save on this device” when creating a signature, that signature image is kept in your browser’s local storage so you can reuse it. It never leaves your device and you can remove it in the signature window at any time. Your browser may also keep ordinary cached copies of our pages and scripts to make the site faster.

Children

PDFEditKaro is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

Your choices

Because we do not hold your files or an account for you, there is nothing to delete or export on our side. If you have written to us and want your message removed, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it was last changed.
