How to fill in a PDF form
- Open the form. If it has fillable fields, they are highlighted in blue and you can click and type, tick checkboxes, choose radio buttons and pick from dropdown lists.
- No fillable fields? Many forms are just a picture. Use Add text to type on the lines, and the Mark menu to place check marks and crosses in boxes.
- Add the date and sign with the Date and Sign buttons.
- Download your completed form.
Fillable and flat forms
PDFEditKaro handles both kinds. For interactive forms (AcroForms) it fills the real fields, so the values remain editable in other PDF programs. For flat forms, such as scanned application forms, you place text, ticks and a signature directly on the page. You can change the font size and color of typed text so that it fits the boxes.
Nothing is uploaded, which matters for forms that contain personal details such as names, addresses and ID numbers.
Good to know
- Some forms use scripts for calculations or special formats. These do not run here, so double-check totals and dates.
- Typing in Hindi or other languages works in the free-text tool. Fillable fields accept Latin letters only.
- Fill only forms you are entitled to complete, and do not use this tool to alter official documents.

Why are some fields not highlighted?
Only real form fields are highlighted. If your PDF is a scan or a flat design, use Add text and the Mark menu to fill it in.
Can I tick checkboxes and radio buttons?
Yes, in fillable forms. In flat forms, use the Mark menu to place a check mark or cross.
Will my entries stay editable?
In fillable forms the values are written into the real form fields, so other programs can still edit them. Text and marks you add yourself become part of the page.
Can I save a partly filled form?
Yes. Download it and open it again later. Your entries are saved in the file.
Is my data sent to a server?
No. The form is filled in your browser and never uploaded.
