HTML to PDF

Convert an .html file, HTML code or a web address into a PDF. Check every page in the live preview before you download. Scripts are never run.

Your HTML never leaves your device — the conversion happens entirely in your browser. Scripts are not run. (Only the Web address tab sends the address you type to our page-fetching helper.)

Real text, not a picture

Your page is rebuilt as a PDF with real text, so you can select, search and copy it. Links, tables, colours and borders are kept. Hindi and other Indian-language text, and ₹, display correctly.

— 02

File, code or web address

Drop an .html file, paste the code, or type a web address. With pasted code the preview updates as you edit, so you can fix the markup and watch the PDF change.

Safe by design

Scripts are never run. Pages from a web address are read by a small helper that refuses private and internal addresses, and the conversion itself happens in your browser.

What's useful about this

  • Files and pasted code are converted in your browser and never uploaded
  • Styles, tables, lists, inline pictures and links are kept
  • Live preview of the finished PDF, with rotate and view buttons on every page
  • Page size, margins, viewport, zoom, ad removal, main-content mode and page numbers
  • Password, no-print, no-copy and no-edit protection, and fast web view
  • Full-size final preview before you download

How to use it

  • Drop an .html file, paste your code, or type a web address
  • Check the live preview and the page thumbnails
  • Open Settings to change the page, content and PDF options
  • Press the download button

About HTML to PDF

HTML to PDF renders your page in a safe, sandboxed view inside your browser and writes it to a PDF with real, selectable text. CSS styles, colours, borders, tables, lists, inline pictures and links are kept. You can choose the page size, orientation and margins, shrink wide content to fit, rotate single pages and add page numbers. A Settings dropdown adds a custom page size, single page PDF, viewport width and zoom, ad removal, main-content extraction, options to skip pictures or backgrounds, and a password with no-print, no-copy and no-edit permissions. A live preview shows the finished PDF with thumbnails of every page, and Preview final PDF opens all the pages at full size.

Scripts in the page are never run. For a file or pasted code, pictures and styles stored at other web addresses are not loaded, so files that carry their own CSS and embedded (data:) images convert best. With the Web address tab, a small helper on our server downloads the page, its stylesheets and up to 30 pictures (it refuses private and internal addresses); the typed address is sent to that helper, but the conversion itself still happens in your browser. Pages that build their content with JavaScript, or sit behind a login, cannot be converted this way.

Frequently asked questions

Why are my images missing?

With a file or pasted code, pictures stored at web addresses are not loaded. Embed them as data: images, or use the Web address tab, which loads up to 30 pictures. Check that “Do not print images” is off.

Can I see the PDF before I download it?

Yes. The live preview is the finished PDF itself, and it updates as you change the page setup or edit pasted code. Open Preview final PDF to scroll every page at full size.

Does JavaScript run?

No. Scripts are removed so the conversion is safe, and “Do not run JavaScript” is always on. Content that only appears after JavaScript runs will not be included.

Can I convert a live web page by link?

Yes. Use the Web address tab. A small helper on our server downloads the page and its styles and pictures, then your browser makes the PDF. Pages that need JavaScript or a login, and private or internal addresses, cannot be converted. For those, save the page as an HTML file and use the HTML file tab.

Are Hindi and other languages supported?

Yes. Indian-language text and the rupee sign are drawn correctly.

Is my HTML uploaded?

No. Files and pasted code are converted in your browser. Only an address typed in the Web address tab is sent to our helper so it can download that page.
